My portfolio showcases various Orchestration and Arrangement projects created throughout my career. See my contact information below and get in touch.
What is an Orchestrator?
An Orchestrator is a person who takes a piece or an idea and re-imagines it into an orchestral score. The Orchestrator is not necessarily the Composer of the piece.
What is an Arranger?
Similar to an Orchestrator, they take a piece or an idea and adapt it for another ensemble or style. This is what I mostly do for the band at church in my role as the Pastor/Director of Music.
J.J. & S.D.G.
These are Latin acronyms used by composers such as Bach and Handel. J.J. stands for “Jesus Juva”, which means “Jesus help!” and S.D.G. stands for “Soli Deo Gloria”, which means “Glory to God alone”. I include these acronyms in my scores because like my favourite composers I wanted to dedicate each score to Jesus as well as share my faith 🙂
